First of all, Philippines is a free country, a place where every one regardless of races, regardless of religions, regardless of professions can live freely. People living in Philippines call themselves as "Philipino", " Pinoy" for girl "Philippina or Pinay". The fact that there are a lots of Spanish influences to be seen in their life styles as well as in their language usages. They were under the colonization of Spaniard for more than 300 years which is more than three centuries. Many Philipinos even say that to discover the real philipino they must trace back cultures before Spaniard colonization. However, now is the period of post-modernism. we are in the age of Globalization in which it is truly perplexed to label this and that is whose culture. One's true culture can be difficult to define wherever there is modernization. This country is a home for all. Arrival visa (3 weeks of stay)is also available at the Airport itself. it makes tourists easier to get into The Philippines.

Since the Republic of Philippines is composed of hundreds Islands, the most used transportation is Air-plane. There are two popular air companies which carry passengers across the country. The country is divided into three regions namely Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. And the in Luzon region there is a special region which is called National capital region. See. photo 1, the white marked region is called National Capital region.

In this region, Metro-Manila is the most outstanding city due to Government and Business offices. For a business man, it is a must to visit city (photo 4) since a thousand of business offices are located in this area. The city is full of sky-hi buildings. Most importantly more than half of foreign Embassies in Philippines are situated in Makati city. If you are fond of Night life, there are international level entertainment centers and clubs with a welcome by true Pinay beauties.

Before you visit the Metro-Manila, it is wise and advisable to know the temperature in metro-Manila . I should say the weather is quite hot in Metro-Manila especially if you come from a clod country. They used to joke on Philippines weather that " There are only two seasons in Philippines which are "hot" and "hotter" seasons."

But the fun side of Metro-Manila is that there are a lots of Malls, big malls where you can unwind your hotness. They are fully air-conditioned. You can spend you entire day even at the Mall. Stuffs are complete. See Photos 2 and 3. You will not feel lonely once you are the Malls. The most popular are SM and Robinsons Malls. The Mall of Asia and SM North are also incorporated with SM Company Ltd., Which is owned by a Chinese guy namely Henry Sy. There are hundreds of SM malls across the country. In the Philippines, shopping at the Mall is taken as something to be proud of. So, every mall is crowded especially in Weekend days.

And one more interesting thing about the Philippines is that thought he country in size is quite small, it is believed that it has 95 millions of populations. The yearly population growth is high. According to 2010 estimation the country population growth rate hits 1.931% (2010 est.) Therefore, with the country new President RH bill is now proposed but most of the Roman Catholic churches do not agree due to their belief of pro-life. In Metro-Manila alone it is believed that about 13 millions are residing in day time and 10 millions at night since the employees from the nearby towns and cities travel to report to their respective works on daily basis not residing in Metro-Manila at night.

And the Photo 5, is a famous and phenomenon grandstand. It has been famous because the recent Chinese Tourists group hostage taken by an ex Police of the Philippines National Police on August23,2010 took place at right in front of that grandstand which is called Quirino grandstand. And it is famous because the present President Ninoy Aquino used that place for his presidency inauguration.
