How Do I Buy Air-tickets without Credit Card

I thought without carrying any credit card I wouldn’t be able to buy air-tickets via online. All I knew though was every Airline company normally has a time when Tickets are on sale or promotion. Indeed there are certain promotional air-tickets which you can’t still avail of unless you got an access such as Peso Fare in Philippine Airline yearly promotion. Peso Fare simply means with 1 peso (1USD = 43 Peso) you can make a fun trip domestically as well as internationally. But I didn’t know that that peso fare can still be grabbed if I had ATM card with RCBC bank in the Philippines although I recently saw their peso fare sale via tweeter, but unfortunately I was not eligible for it because I don’t affiliate with RCBC bank in the Philippines. What a Waste!

I have been extensively traveling domestically and internationally but all in Asia since I was in College. As I already had got such incurable virus of travel and adventure since my boyhood, I always have fun everywhere I travel though the feelings and experiences that I have had may vary from place to place. There were also times, while on the trip, that I ran out of money and had to call my close friends to lend me money. Heck! But such experience didn’t not leave me pessimist to travels. Rather, it was just a sign of being too much enjoying in the experience until I couldn’t mind about the money on hand. Remember we are here talking about not carrying credit or ATM cards. And most possibly, if you are traveling to some remote places, you can’t really rely on your plastic money, you need cash.

What is the gain of buying tickets via online? Or you might like to ask like this… what is the difference between buying online and Airline Agents without using any credit card? There is a big difference. And here is the first clear answer to that. First of all, do know that airline agents if not directly co-operated get commission every time a ticket is sold. For sure, tickets agents stations such are found in SM malls and individual retailer get commission fees by percentage. So, if you buy it by yourself, first you will save that commission fees. No one on earth would love to pay extra fraction while it is not for charity and there is sure and easy way so that you can exempt it.

Secondly, it is profitable especially when you know in advance that you are traveling somewhere on a certain date. But if your online buying is just a day or a week before, you won’t be able to save that much. The best time to pursue this online ticket deal is by the time when tickets are on sale. Although you may be able to get direct contact with tickets agents every now and then, but via online, without requiring you to text or call, you can just learn when tickets are on sale at your desk itself. As I have mentioned earlier, being an addicted to travel, what I do is to make subscription with some Airline companies’ website. I am already subscribed to Cebu Pacific, Tigers Airway, and Philippines Airline. You just register and get updated with their promos and sales alert.

The followings are how you may access your online ticket buying. And let me take an example with Cebu Pacific Air for which I am much familiar. Firstly, go to cebupacificair.com. On the front webpage, you will be able to see at the left top side, the flights. You may also first subscribe to their sale alerts if you could have done. But you can still check their promos manually. So fill up the flight search; origin, destination, departure, return date, and quantity.  And check the prices for the departure and return. Then Click “continue” button. It will take you to the second page.

When you are in the third page, fill up Guest’s detail. Blanks with red asterisk are where you can’t leave without filling up. After that click “continue”.  With that Add-ons, you can skip or book the seat where you would like to sit.  Then “continue”, now you are on the page of payment. Since you will not use your credit card or don’t have any debit, you may choose payment centre that you are near to. For me I just chose LBC payment centre since that is the nearest to me. When you have chosen the payment centre, pin number of you buying will be directly sent to your e-mail account. Check your e-mail and get the pin number, that pin number is what you are going to use when you pay at Bayad center… or any bill payment branch that you chose earlier. But do not forget that you must pay before midnight of the day you booked.

Itinerary Receipt page is what you will need to print. So don’t forget to do that although you won’t need to bring it when you pay the bill, you will need it at the air port. It is wise to buy in this way because you serve yourself and make yourself proud plus you will be able to grab the chance of the cheapest flight of airlines. All you need is to know how to operate a computer and internet. Just a little skill will be sufficient in order to access this online ticket buying process.
